Inakir Description

Eeee! Sparklyyyy! I think I got a tad crazy with the textures. In my opinion it looks pretty sloppy. I dunno. It was an experiment.
Oh yah, and I messed up /rreeeaaaally/ bad on the front left paw, so I tried to hide it as best as I could. Oh well.

Anyways!

The Inakir are a species for my comic that I vaguely talked about in one of those journals of mine. The main character is half Inakiran and half fox, which isn't exactly a great thing. You'll find out more about it after you reeeaaad some!

Physical description
-Fur- Inakirans have medium length, very soft fur. It's usual colors are tans, light browns, light grays, and white. There are usually darker points, and black/grey/dark brown markings with any shade of blue. There is not real difference in the fur between males and females.

-Head- Usually slightly large in proportion to the body. Narrow, long muzzle and tufts of fur on the cheeks.

-Eyes- Almond shaped and large. Both genders have eyes that are blue, but females have darker, more sapphire type blue eyes, while males have lighter, sky blue eyes.

-Ears- The ears are large and "Dumbo" type, usually the base is surrounded by tufts of fur. The inner fur is soft and slightly thin.

-Legs/Paws- The legs are slightly shortish, but not at all pudgy. The paws are very dainty and fox-like, and usually are a darker color then the main fur color. The claws are small and sharp and retractable. They are usually dark grey or black.

-Tail- The tail has long fur and is slightly scraggly. It's thinner and shorter then a fox's tail. The base of the tail is very high and it arches, rather then being strait or curved up. It's very difficult for them to make it strait or curved the opposite way, and the tail usually sticks up like a cat when alert. Tail markings vary greatly, but usually it's tipped with a dark color.

-Body- Inakirans are very aerodynamically shaped. With a deep chest and narrow waste, it's kind of like a shorter legged greyhound with longer fur. The body is long compared to the legs, but they NEVER resemble dachshunds.


Habitat
They usually live in great cities built in the mountains, but some wander or live alone in the mountains or thickets. Occasionally there is a small town built in the woods or a thicket.

Culture
-Government- Those in the large cities are ruled by a king who never shows his face and when he ventures outside, is wrapped in silk and wearing a vale and surrounded by his guards. The rules are extremely strict and controlling and the king monitors the actions of everyone who lives there.

-Purity Laws- Inakirans believe strictly in preserving the purity of their species. Hybrids are thought to be lowly and worthless. A proud Inakiran would never breed with a member of another species, and even if they wanted to, they would be severely punished by the King.

-Personality- Many Inakirans are very quiet and solitary, and usually have very few strong bonds with others. They might have one or two friends, and then their mate. Inakirans have one mate for life. They also have a very strong work ethic, and when they live in the city, have a strong urge to be productive and efficient. Many Inakirans have other personality traits, but keep then rather hidden because of their shyness.
